Salty Head has redesigned their ORIGINAL SERIES Jig Head, and came up with THE WICKED SHANK! Multiple modifications have been made to make it swim a lot smoother in the water while improving the ability to grip your soft plastics for the best fish fight. The upgraded shape of the head is able to cut through the water a lot smoother and a third barb holds on to your bait a lot better than the original shank with two barbs. The hook is also upgraded to a VMC hook that has been tested on Speckled Trout, flounder and Redfish! It took a full 2 years to redesign this jig head and try to make the original series better and more reliable. The kahle shaped hook helps you hook and land the fish and also allows the fish to hold on a lot better than a regular J hook.
