Sliding egg sinkers are perfect for making the Carolina Rig (Egg sinker, bead, swivel, leader and hook). Keep in mind, the larger the surf or current use a heavier sinker and in calm conditions use a lighter sinker. Your bait must always be in contact with the bottom as this is where surf fish feed.
