The leg extensions are designed for the Disc-O-Bed with a straight frame (upper bed when used as a bunk bed). They snap into place with no additional tools and allow the distance from the top to the bottom bed to be increased by 18 cm. This way even taller people can sleep comfortably in the lower bed and move around without any problems. The leg extensions can also be used to increase the distance to the floor when the bed is used as a single bed.
